Whether we like it or not, the pack mentality of humans seems to work in weird and wonderful ways. One of the major worldwide actions is a change of scenery in February; whether it’s a new job, a new place to live, or a new ‘you’. It seems that the change is promoted in January, then acted upon in February – in fact this gone Monday is the busiest day of the year for job interviews!

As mentioned last month Marsala is the Pantone colour of the year, so naturally, the design world is leaping on this luxurious colour to promote warm and somewhat regal designs. Whites, pastels and brass all accentuate this shade.
Maybe you don’t like to follow the trends and instead make your own path. Why not bring other countries to you by creating a foreign theme in your design. We have seen shutters integrate perfectly in African, Mediterranean and Asian themes.
